City County Insurance Services is pleased to announce a 5-hour specialized training for Safety Committees in your area. Join us and hear what other CIS members have to say about making their safety committee meetings and quarterly worksite inspections successful.

John Zakariassen, CIS Risk Management Consultant, will be the instructor for this 5-hour workshop. This course enables the employer to be in compliance with the rules, established by OR-OSHA, for safety committee members. Water and Wastewater Plant employees may apply the course hours to help meet their requirements for maintaining their annual licenses and certifications.

Water and wastewater employees will receive .4 CEU credit hours, approved by the Oregon Environmental Services Advisory Council (OESAC).

Who Should Attend?

New Safety committee members (specifically those that have not received the required training in hazard identification, safety committee operations and accident investigation), current members in need of a review, supervisors, safety managers, HR managers, agents of record, water & wastewater employees as well as city officials are encouraged to attend.

Be sure to register early, space is limited!
